Pioneers of Sound Art Seminar

In some languages ​​sound and music is the same word.  In this theoretical seminar we will be introduced to the pioneers of sound art in the 20th century and the ways that changed our perception about what is sound. The seminar is addressed to the wider audience interested in either audiovisual arts or experimental music and sound art.

Among others this seminar will discuss the following:

How did we move from Western music to widening the boundaries of experimental music and sound art?

Are there any restrictions to the handset?

Which ways does sound art occur in space?

Which way did the exhibition space evolved from the perspective of the two dimensions (visual perception) in the three with the addition of sound?

The seminar won’t be a historical reference or musical analysis.
